Uganda In Uganda, HelpAge International has trained 90 people to work as volunteer paralegal advisors to help protect the rights of older people and children affected by HIV. In 2009, our paralegal advisors helped settle 84 disputes through counselling and referred another 35 to the local courts.
Africa HelpAge International empowers older people in Africa in a range of ways. For instance, we help them take action to curb the spread of HIV and AIDS.
