About the Age and Disability Capacity Program (ADCAP)

ADCAP is a three-year initiative led by HelpAge International in collaboration with CBM,, Humanity & Inclusion (the new name of Handicap International), IFRC, Oxford Brookes University and RedR UK. The program aims to strengthen age and disability inclusion in humanitarian response. It uses a combination of technical resources such as standards, e-learning and training materials, as well as focused capacity building support. This will help humanitarian organizations adapt existing programs and to set up targeted activities where needed, so that older people and people with disabilities receive humanitarian assistance that is accessible and appropriate to their needs. The program is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
